July 25, 2012. It’s the moments in life when you realize that you need help beyond yourself that you realize that you haven’t actually “got it all together” in the way that you have been feigning. My prayer this morning comes directly from Psalm 5:. Give ear to my words, O Lord,. Listen to my cry for help,. My King and my God,. For to you I pray. In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice;. In the morning, I lay my requests before you. And wait in expectation. But I, by your great mercy,. April 30, 2012.

Reflections from Seminary Life

Reflections from Seminary Life. Sunday, November 18, 2012. I guess this blog may as well serve as a bin for things too long for Facebook]. I know this is likely to sound very "white middle-class"-ish, (but hey, I am white middle-class, sort of), but I've been thinking about this concept of "the marginalized" that we toy with in theology and sermons (as the better of us move into actual practice), and here's where I am at:.
