So Evelyn and II finished cleaning and organizing my little attic and the bedroom closets last weekend! My least favorite part of making quilts is sandwiching it all together (followed by binding them) but once I get a few together and ready, then the quilting can begin! It's cold, but nice and sunny. Down to earth living and thinking. Life is a lot more fun when we keep it simple. Friday, February 20, 2015. Embroidered baby quilt-nursery rhymes. I have been working on this daily for about 2 weeks and it is just about done. Just needs backing and binding! Most of the larger blocks took an hour or two to complete, but it goes fast since some of the colors stitch out for 20 minutes or longer, so I was able to vacuum, cook or work on something else. Isn't that monkey cute? Kinda want to hate her for that...

It was fun to make using the accuquilt and the embroidery machine. The embroidery is a simple red work pattern of teddy bears riding trains. I used colors from the border fabric to make the designs.
