Monday, August 16, 2010. Takin it to the streets part V. Takin it to the streets part V. For the fifth time this summer I participated in a street fair. This time it was the 30th Annual Peace Concert at Gas Works Park on Lake Union in Seattle. This fair was very laid back as Blues music flowed from the stage and the 95 degree temperatures kept most people seeking a way to cool down. Friday, April 16, 2010. I love walking through Schmitz Park, here above alki beach. It's a land of old growth trees, ferns,. A wonderful hilly and scenic trail network, and a creek down the middle. This picture reminds me of my own roots to this park as a young child. Our kindergarten class at Schmitz Park elementary took a field trip to and through it. How do I sense the ground under me? The past two Saturday's I've been out in the street with table and skeleton, talking it up about the Feldenkrais Method and my business Alki Feldenkrais. A month ago the question sometimes was "will this work in such a public venue? After the University district street fair last weekend, the answer is a resounding "Yes! All the people we talked to and touched, perhaps in a way they've never been touched before.
