Maddie has known for a while that her name is spelled "M-A-D-D-I-E" and she's know for a while how do draw the letter M, but that's as far as we have gotten with her being able to write her name. The other night we were working on it and she was LOVING it! SHe did pretty darn good too! Super pumped after she wrote her name! Parent walker (or rider) for golf! Overanalyzing who got best ball here…it was funny!

Maddie had made Mike a Father's Day gift in school and she kept it in a safe spot until Father's Day. She was super pumped to give it to him! The kids have had swim practice every day except two……and they've all been troopers! He got a 3rd place ribbon and I was sooooo happy for him! He was super pumped….and it was well deserved. This boy has worked hard and he actually enjoys it now. And he is off……. Super proud of his ribbon….so am I! Getting tagged in on a relay…. And now SHE is off…. Backed up to NOVEMBER!

She was so excited for that day and you could certainly tell, she loved having the attention that day. She loved her dress, her head peace and vail, her party. It rained on her day….what a bummer. The Friedman Family Update

Thursday, July 4, 2013. Oohs and Ahhs ahead! Having just one road in town doesn't stop us from shutting it down for an hour, to allow for the 4th of July parade procession. Tonight, we journey all the way to the end of our block, to watch the fireworks display that launches across the street at the park. Pretty conveniently spectacular. Enjoy the show, everyone, wherever you may be! In other news this summer, the kids have enjoyed horse camp. And art camp, baseball camp, and next week Ben has dive camp).
