Toni in the City: February 2015
http://toninyc.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Toni in the City. Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Who's the fairest of them all? 1, he'd see what he could do about the scar, and tell me they got all of the bad stuff;. 2, he'd have to remove just a snip more of the bad stuff and I'd be free of bad stuff;. Or the dreaded 3, there would be too much bad stuff left for him to remove and I'd be sent to a surgeon. In my adult years, I've stayed away from the sun. Well, except for that one year in college when I had a subscription to Hollywood Tans. My follow u...

Toni in the City: March 2013
http://toninyc.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Toni in the City. Saturday, March 16, 2013. Keeping Clean in 2013. An overflowing closet that I hadn't edited in years. Books from grad school (and embarrassingly enough undergrad school also) that I had no use for anymore. Kitchen items that were not working like they did when I bought them. Decor from so far back in the past that I couldn't imagine bringing it to a new place. Fashion accessories that had fallen out of fashion. And so so so much more. After many trips to the Container Store. Well, she's...

A Day in the Life...: August 2009
http://mountaingirlinthecity.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. It's been a long time coming. No flights - Though I did move into a new apartment, attend President Obama's Inauguration concert, celebrate my birthday with dear friends, travel to the Poconos for a weekend, get to have a weekend visit with Ang, my college roommate, and attend the DC Cherry Blossom Festival - to name a few things. June was hectic. No two ways about it. June started off with my flight of the month to Iowa so a wonderful weekend spent ...

Maybelle and Michele: November 2011
http://bmoresunshine.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
November 1, 2011. Where a year has gone. Every year I think is going to be "my year". I don't think that is wrong but I don't think that is right either. This year, I have pushed myself farther than I ever imagined and I have still come out alive. I realized that I can do things on my own. I realized that I have great friends. The things planned for the next year:. Visit Family in Florida with Steph. Weekend trips away with friends and family. Visiting Dana in Europe. Going to the Lake. Toni in the City.

A Day in the Life...: February 2009
http://mountaingirlinthecity.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. It's all in the lyrics. I'm sitting here studying for my GREs with my iTunes library on shuffle and felt compelled to write this - not because I'm procrastinating (which I am.) but because it just struck me as funny. Funny how a single song can play and bring you right back to a particular moment in time, or a specific person. A few examples - no judging allowed on my music libary:. 4) Alternatively, "Beautiful Day" (U2) can lift my mood at any moment. 6) "I...

Maybelle and Michele: Long Time
http://bmoresunshine.blogspot.com/2012/12/long-time.html
December 7, 2012. So I know it has been a long time since I have updated you on my life. I guess I found it hard to talk about and still do. I lost my job and am currently still looking. I have faith I will find something soon. I guess it takes a little time to change from one field of work to another. So that is the sad in my life. I think the difference is I'm not losing faith in people. The last time I felt this way I lost my faith in guys. I'm trying to stay positive. View my complete profile.
