For all those who entered either the 6km or 12km races today I’m sure you will all agree it was a beautiful day to race (albeit a bit cold). After we had overcome a few technical problems (the race timing computer didn’t work because it was too cold) we were underway. Yesterdays mud was replaced by a lot of ice around the course but that didn’t seem to deter (or slow down) any of the runners.

We recently caught up with James and Tonya our 2 winners of the 0 to 30 in 10 months competition. James and Tonya, who were both new to Ultra running (Tonya was new to running! After a rocky start to the year, due to illness and injury, my training is getting better, phew! On the super plus side I’ve lost 10lbs in weight so far and have never felt healthier.
